Book Worm

The day my mom took me to see The Lord of the Rings was the most wonderful time for me, because that is when I really started to really love to read. When I have a hard day at school, it really helps me to relax when I pick up a good book and lie down on my bed and read. I like reading fictional and fantasy novels the best, because they are the most relaxing; and the non- fictional make me feel even more stressed. The fantasy novels work great, because if you want to lose yourself they are great for that. In fantasy novels, you go on amazing adventures, like whisking you off to a far away land; where you might find your prince charming, or you end up on a perilous quest to rescue your best friends sister from the evil Lord Voldemort, or saving a magical realm from an evil Ice Witch and much more. Reading fantasy novels make me feel like I’m apart of the story and not just a statistic.

I have read many books such as; The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter, The Host, and The Chronicles of Narnia, all of these I read after I started to really enjoy reading. My daughter really loves to read also, and right now she is reading my Twilight saga, and she is almost done with the last book of the saga and loves it. She loves to be read to by me and my mom. The books we read to her were The Harry Potter series, The Eragon inheritance cycle and the Host. I’m on my second round of reading The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I’m right now reading The Fellowship of the Ring, and I just read about Frodo getting stabbed on Weathertop from a Ring Wraith, because he had put on the one ring to escape him.

I can’t wait to see what happens to Frodo by the end of the book. I kind of hope he makes it to Rivendale, the home of Elrond and they can heal him.
