Welcome everyone who is reading this, my blog is going to be about how i love to read books and what got me to really enjoy reading. I read books when i was a kid, but i only read to know what page or chapter i was on instead of reading to enjoy the story. When i was reading before i didn't read to know what was going on the story, i was reading to see how many pages i could read. I have read many books but there is three different books that are my favorites and they are; The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter series and the twilight series which I haven’t started yet. The Hobbit is by J.R.R. Tolkien which also wrote the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and is one of my favorite authors.

In the next blog i will be giving a brief summary of what the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings to give you a sense of what is going on in the books. I will also be talking about the difference between the movies of the Lord of the Rings and the books. There is another book that I read that was pretty good called the Host by Stephanie Myers which wrote the Twilight series. I am also reading my daughters owl books by Kathryn Lasky they are pretty good, and in the story the owls are doing the talking and telling the story. Reading books help me to relax after a hard day, and it drains all my worries and cares from the day. I am more into fantasy and fictional novels than non fictional ones.

Books are very imagitive, and they let your mind expand to a variety of possibilities, and they also let your imagination go wild. I found out that reading also helps to expand your mind to a bigger vocabulary. Thanks to that one movie that got me started to really enjoy reading, my love of reading got much bigger. I read a lot of fantasy novels, because they have the most imaginative reading. My daughter really loves to read also, and she’s got a very big imagination

This is a neat introduction to your blog, bTaz. Over the coming I'd love to hear more about your evolution as a reader from one who read for information only to one who has found sincere joy in fiction.

I’m glad to hear you love reading. It is good for your vocabulary knowledge and is something that I should do but don’t. I’m really looking forward now to your next blog for I really like the lord of the rings. I like playing the games for them, which makes me feel like I’m reading the book in a since, because you’re right there in the action of it all.
I have read a little of the first twilight book. I thought it was pretty good so far. For it explains a lot more than the movie does. Which goes for almost all book movies for that fact.

My daughter has just finished reading all four Twilight books, and she loved them so much she couldn't put the books down
